OMAN: Salalah Tourism Festival, Oman Post Launches Photography Competition

Oman Post has launched a photography competition under the title 'Your Photo in a postal stamp' as part of the celebrations of Salalah Tourism Festival 2017.

The competition is aimed at promoting tourism in the Sultanate in general and in Dhofar Governorate in particular.

The competition also aims to communicate photos of nature in Dhofar to the world and to encourage professional photographers and amateurs to excel in photography aspects.

Those who are interested to participate shall post the photos taken by them in the Instagram of Khareef Salalah and to refer to the account of Oman Post in the photo.

Photos eligible for the competition shall be those taken during the Khareef Salalah 2017.

Photos shall be sent before August 31, according to Oman Post.

It is worth mentioning that Oman Post has earlier launched in its pavilion at the ground of 2017 Salalah Tourism Festival fifteen distinct postal stamps which featured the nature at a number of sites in Dhofar Governorates.
